Student Flags are visual indicators that appear on student's cards and only teachers can see them. Flags can represent both positive and negative things. Quests can add and remove Flags based on your Quest's layout. Teachers can also remove flags manually if allowed in your school's Settings.
NOTE: All Flags are visible to all School Admins and Teachers
Student Flags are a powerful way to visually alert all teachers of important information regarding specific students. They are displayed in all of the teacher's views that list students. Teachers can also filter their students based on any Student Flag.
If a flag was added by a Quest, the View Quest button will open the Quest log for easy access and review.
Here are some examples of how schools can use flags
Add a red dot on students that have been issued a Tier 3 Quest. The Quest can remove the dot when the student passes the Quest.
Issue a Quest to all students that places a green dot on all of their profiles. When a condition is met, for example, they have learned their multiplication tables, manually remove their dot.
Automatically flag students. An example of this might be a student volunteering for a Tier I Behavioral Quest, when they successfully pass it, add a dot to their profile.
Flag a teacher to check on a student that has scored poorly on a mental health check Quest.
There are limitless ways you can use Student Flags at your school!
