How do I setup CritterCoin World? (COMING SOON!)

To setup CritterCoin World all you need is an API key for your OpenAI Developer Account and to turn on Metaverse Pets in the Admin Settings menu. The instructions below will guide you through getting your API and enabled Metaverse Pets.

PREREQUISITE: CritterCoin World requires your school to have an OpenAI (Developer) account and a license for CritterCoin World (premium option)

Create OpenAI (ChatGPT) Developer Account

 

Step 1) Sign into your OpenAI Developer Account

Step 2) Go to your Dashboard

Step 3) Click the API Keys left side menu, then click + Create new secret key

 

Step 4) Add a new secret key by filling in the dialog

 

TIP: Be sure to copy your Secret API Key when it is displayed. OpenAI will not show it to you again.

NOW IN CRITTERCOIN

Now you just need to add it to the school's CritterCoin account.

  1. Sign in at https://www.crittercoin.com with Admin permissions
  2. Click the World left side menu.
  3. Paste in your secret key and click Save
  4. Click the Settings left side menu.

  5. Scroll down to the Metaverse Section and Enable Virtual Pets if they are not already

     

Now you are ready to create CritterCoin Worlds to engage and teach your students.
